The Eye Lighter is a 6” long transparent plastic highlighter which can help to maintain a reader’s focus, concentration and comprehension. The design of the Eye Lighter allows readers to underline the sentence they are reading and allows them to track 1, 2 or 3 lines at a time which is important as their fluency and speed increase.

The Eye Lighter is produced in four colors, Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink. What color works best? This will be up to the individual as it will be a personal choice. The best way to determine what color suits the reader best is to have them read with each color first and see which one their eyes prefer, as individuals respond differently to colors.
The colors blue and green can be calming colors for some students.
