Posted on April 11 2016
Most parents and educators of children with autism understand that dialing in to the child's interest is the key to gaining ground in reading. If the child loves trains, then find anything you can about trains for them to read. That strategy doesn't apply to just children with autism. All children grow more quickly when engaged in something that intrigues them. To build reading skills in your children find reading material related to things they love and watch them settle in to read!
