Gratitude to Lighten a Sour Middle Schoolers Mood
Posted on November 18 2015
Middle school can be a tough transition for some kids, whether it's a new school, friends or changing bodies kids need to be reminded of all that is good in their lives. Try instituting thank you cards. Once a week have your students take five minutes to write a thank you card to one student, teacher, relative or friend who did something over the past week they are thankful for. The students don't have to share them or even give then to the person they wrote about, but the reminder that there is a lot to be grateful for will help keep their mood a little ligher.
